Ultimately, someone’s Facebook page or profile gets hacked, and immediately pressed into service spewing sponsored advertisements for the best deal you’ve seen in a long time. Alas, it’s revealed very quickly to be fake. If/when you encounter one of these pages, do the netizen thing and report it as a fraud.
