About Dustin Decker

There are many men named Dustin Decker in this world of ours. Sneak a peek at my mug - are you sure I'm the Dustin or Droid you're looking for?

Still not sure you know me? Here's a gallery of pseudo-recent photos.

Midwestern born, grown outside Springfield Missouri, matriculated in Kansas City Missouri and then on to the United States Navy, traveling to six of seven continents before my twenty fourth birthday, I presently hang my hat in Phoenix, Arizona, a recent transplant from North San Diego County, California, where I spent the last three years through September of 2013.  How's THAT for a run on sentence?  I've often heard it said of folks, "he went off to California to find himself".  It's probably more accurate to say I lost myself in the beauty of the landscapes, the lack of seasons, and unlike Don Genaro in Carlos Casteneda's Journey to Ixtlan, spent time among the phantoms suppressing my shadow.

December 2015 Update:
Just to make it really interesting, I've been hanging that hat in Los Angeles, CA since March of this year so, there's that. Phoenix Arizona will go down in my personal history as "the year I burned in Arizona in a call center". Yuck, and yuck.
